Lentil and Pasta Soup
“Amazingly flavoursome” is how one of our testers described this soup… we added chunky chicken but you could use turkey or vegetables or just have it as it is.
A great base soup – add whatever you fancy!

Ingredients include: split peas, rice, glutrn free pasta (Cornflour (69%), Rice Flour (17%), Water, Emulsifier (Mono- and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids), red lentils, green lentils, dried onions, vegetable bouillon (Dextrose, Salt, Potato starch, dried vegetables (11%) (Onion, Carrot, Leek, Lovage), Yeast Extracts, Sunflower Oil, Spices (Tumeric, Pepper Powder, Herb (Parsley))

To make: Remove pasta from top of packet. Add rest of packet to pan with 1.5Ltrs water. Bring to boil. Simmer 40 mins. Add pasta and extra water as required and continue to simmer for15-20 mins. Can add cooked chicken/beef or extra veg etc. Serves 4+
