To make: Add packet to the pan with 2½ pints of water with chopped and sliced carrot and celery and bring to the boil. Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add extra water as required. Can add cooked chicken/beef or extra veg etc. Can be slow cooked. Season to taste. Serves 4+
