Pea Soup


Our version of Pea Soup and a family favourite. Ready in an hour and all you really need to add is water. If you want to add some extra ingredients you could try ham once blended. This is quite a thick soup, if you want it a little thinner just add more boiling water when you’re ready to eat. Serves 4+
Works well in a soup maker (on smooth mode) for a quicker tasty soup.

Ingredients include: green split peas, parsley, veg bouillon (Salt, Modified Maize Starch, Rapeseed Oil, Sugar, Tomato Powder, Natural Flavouring, Yeast Extract (Yeast Extract, Salt, Acidity Regulator (Citric Acid)), Spinach Powder, Onion Powder, Spice Extract, Nutmeg, Acidity Regulator: Citric Acid)), onion, parsley and paprika.

Allergens: in bold

To make: Place the packet contents in a pan with 2½ pints of water. Boil then simmer for 1 hour, Blend when peas are soft until the soup is smooth. Add ham if required. Season to taste. Serves 4+
